Today has been a wonderful blend of both indoor and outdoor small group play. Inside, Harmony, Gene and Ruby explored a puppet show space that had been created. While Charlie enjoyed matching and exploring shapes at a puzzle table. Lochlan and Isla both enjoyed doing a large floor puzzle. When Paige arrived carrying a note pad, Willow, Harmony and Ruby asked for some note pads so that they could do some writing with her.
As many of us began venturing outside, space became available for Paige, Harmony, Ruby and James to create a large train track. Lochlan also had some space to rearrange our home room.
While outside many children played with the diggers. Lucas, and Xavier spent a lot of the morning in the sand pit. Finn and Charlie took some dinosaurs on an adventure. Sam found a patch of mint; as he pulled off the leaves he smelt each one before placing it into a bowl.
At circle time we spoke about how we use our imagination to play Dinosaurs, Octonaughts and animals. We came up with some wonderful ideas about environments we could create and after our rest. Willow, Sam, Lochlan, Harmony, Isla and Ruby worked hard with Sarah to begin creating these spaces.

All of our educators will be contributors to our blog. We really enjoy our daily reflections as we revisit our days with the children and their achievements and successes. These blogs will share the stories of the children and the beauty in our days. We hope you enjoy them!
